Camp History
Ness Lake Bible Camp was established in 1953 and is operated by CSSM Ministries. This interdenominational faith mission owns and operates 43 camps across Canada. NLBC is managed locally by a dedicated group of volunteers who serve on the camp Board. The facilities at Ness Lake have been developed over the past 50 years through the gifts and efforts of many people who are interested in promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ. NLBC offers Christ-centred programs, great physical activities, and wholesome social activities geared towards education and fun.
Camps
Summer is the busiest time of year for Ness Lake Bible Camp! Throughout July and August we run 21 camp sessions and host approximately 1,900 children and teenagers. The main site is able to accommodate 168 campers per session. Children are grouped according to age to ensure that the program can be specially tailored to meet their needs. In addition to children's camps, NLBC offers Work Crew and Family Camps and a variety of programs at our satellite camp called 'WilderNess'. Even though the majority of our campers come from Prince George, kids come from all over the central interior to enjoy camp. NLBC is a Christian Camp, and activities are geared towards introducing children to Jesus Christ in a non-threatening environment.
A number of great off-season camps are also scheduled for a variety of ages. Check out New Years Camp, Snow Camp, Breakaway, Mother / Daughter, and other fabulous programs!
