Lake House Renovation

The exterior approaches completion. Living Room area features new bay window and exposed log wall. The kitchen was totally redesigned. Many thanks to Cliff Stauffer for his meticulous craftsmanship on the cabinets and interior finishing!

Hundreds of volunteer hours were poured into this project from April 2008 to June 2009.  The old roof was torn off and a 5' pony wall was added to the upstairs to double the usable floor area.  All of the old drywall was stripped so that we could upgrade all of the major systems in the house.  We replaced the furnace, upgraded the plumbing and electrical, installed new insulation, and replaced windows with new energy efficient units, before installing new drywall throughout.  New flooring, trim, paint, and cabinets completed the makeover!
